Games. Every game on Suramya was written from scratch for Suramya. Each game is named "Suramya" plus a plain description of its genre, for example Suramya Snake, Suramya Grand Prix and Suramya Robot Arena. Genre words like "snake", "grand prix" or "brick breaker" are everyday descriptions that no one owns, and the game mechanics are common genres. The name Suramya is our own brand, formed from the names Surya and Amayra.
Sports and military games. Suramya Cricket and Suramya Football use invented teams ("Challengers XI", "Rivals") with plain colours - no real leagues, tournaments, clubs, players, kits or logos. The tank, naval and jet games use generic, made-up vehicles and unmanned robot opponents rather than any real manufacturer's design or real armed forces.
Graphics. All graphics, including cars, robots, tracks, tiles, icons and textures, are drawn by our own code at run time. Suramya uses no image files, sprite sheets, 3D model files or stock art.
Sound effects and music. Every sound effect and every piece of music is synthesised live in your browser by Suramya's own code, using the Web Audio API. The melodies are original compositions generated from our own note data. There are no audio files, samples or third-party recordings.
Fonts. Text uses your device's built-in system font. No web fonts are downloaded.

Open-source software

Suramya is built with the open-source packages below. We thank their authors. Each package is used under its own licence, and the full licence texts are included with each package's distribution. All of these licences permit commercial use.

Packages under LGPL (the mariadb database driver, and the optional @img/sharp image-processing binaries used by Next.js) run only on our server and are used unmodified. They are never sent to your browser.
